Vocca is founded
Eliott Hoffenberg and Hugo Danet founded Vocca in July 2024 with one product: an AI phone assistant that picks up patient calls and automates them.

Founded in July 2024 by Eliott Hoffenberg and Hugo Danet, Vocca is live in 1,500+ practices across 20+ specialties in the US and Europe, handling over a million patient interactions every month.

Four in ten calls to a medical practice go unanswered, and nearly half of health workers report frequent burnout, up from a third in 2018. Practices turned to AI for capacity and quickly discovered that generic tools stop where a specialty's rules begin.
Vocca starts there. It learned each specialty's scheduling logic, integrated with the software already used, and was built from the ground up to handle patient data securely.
Our thesis is simple: the conversation is the interface, and the scheduling engine behind it is the infrastructure. Both are built for healthcare's real constraints.
Healthcare will not be automated by generic AI. It gets automated by a vertical player able to build inside healthcare's actual constraints.
A quarter of US health spending still goes to administration, much of it on the phone. What changes with Vocca is capacity: patients keep calling, staff keep their tools, and more patients get through.
The first wave was documentation: in a few years, ambient scribes became standard. The second wave is conversational, and it moves faster because it asks no one to change how they work.
Vocca understands the difference between hundreds of medical exams and steers each patient to the right one. A library of specialty-specific models encodes the rules, so practices go live in days rather than months.

From two founders to 15,000 practitioners in a little over two years.
Eliott Hoffenberg and Hugo Danet founded Vocca in July 2024 with one product: an AI phone assistant that picks up patient calls and automates them.

In September 2025, Vocca raises a $5.5M seed round led by Speedinvest and firstminute capital. 2,000 practitioners use the platform and more than 4 million calls have been handled.

In April 2026, the Hôpital Fondation Adolphe de Rothschild becomes the first French hospital to deploy an AI voice assistant, with Vocca, across every department and more than 300 physicians.

In October 2026, Vocca raises a $20M Series A led by Norrsken VC. 15,000 practitioners across 1,500+ practices and 20+ specialties rely on it, with more than a million conversations a month.

We're building the best scheduling infrastructure in healthcare and the best interface for patients to reach it. The North Star is clear: remove the friction between a patient and care, so that every one of them gets through to the right slot, the right preparation and the right care.
So patients reach care however they prefer.
Extending the library of specialty models to harder edge cases.
Growing the New York team and US deployments.
